Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Feedback is a cornerstone of effective event management, serving as a critical tool for assessing attendee satisfaction and improving future planning. Event feedback forms, both digital and physical, provide event organizers with insights into audience experiences, preferences, and expectations. These tools are particularly essential in Lokoja Local Government Area, where diverse events cater to an equally diverse population. Despite their simplicity, feedback forms can significantly influence how events are structured, highlighting areas for improvement and enabling a data-driven approach to planning. According to Adeyemi and Yusuf (2024), effective utilization of feedback forms in Nigerian local governments has enhanced event quality, ensuring alignment with audience expectations. However, challenges such as low response rates and poorly designed forms often undermine their utility. This study focuses on the effectiveness of event feedback forms in Lokoja LGA, analyzing how these tools shape the planning of future events.
1.2 Statement of the Problem
Event organizers in Lokoja LGA face numerous challenges in delivering events that meet audience expectations.
